On 15 & 16 January 2020, the Technical University of Delft, the Electrical Sustainable Energy Department, and Direct Current B.V. organized the conference "Summit on Low-Voltage DC Grids" in the Netherlands.

Innovations in DC

The conference provides a forum for scientists, engineers, and organisations to present their latest research results, developments, and applications in the field of DC. DC experts and specialists addressed current topics on DC and shared practical experiences of ongoing projects such as DC on ships, DC in the Amsterdam Arena, DC tunnel on freeway A16, Highway N470 on DC Grid, other DC projects in the Netherlands, DC-standards in Netherlands, energy transition to DC and many more.

International Networking

The DC Summit 2020 is a great opportunity for international networking. Besides participants from the Netherlands and abroad, members of the International Electrotechnical Committee (IEC) attend the conference as part of their IEC meeting in the same week.

Harry Stokman, Europe's leading DC expert and owner-director Direct Current B.V., will be the first keynote speaker to start off the DC Summit! Thanks to the innovative DC projects we are working on in cooperation with stakeholders and project partners, the Netherlands is a world leader in the field of direct current!
